Ingredients
- 1 cup Chole (kabuli)
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
- Water As Needed
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Jeera (whole)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Chole Masala
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic (or chilli, or paste chilli paste)
- 2 Onions (finely chopped medium)
- 2 Tomato (big pureed)
- to cup Coriander (garnish)
- to Ginger (julienne garnish)
- 1 tsp Coriander (powder)
- 1/4 tsp Jeera Powder

Instructions
- Wash and soak the choles overnight. Next Morning, cook in pressure cooker with 3 cups water and salt for 4-5 whistles.
- In a thick bottom pan add the oil and heat on.slow flame. Add the jeera and the onion. Cook till light pink. Add the dry masalas and fry for 1 minute. Add the tomato puree. Cook till the mixture looks well fried.
- Add the boiled choles and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Adjust water consistency as per need. Lastly garnish with coriander leaves and ginger Juliennes. Serve hot with pooris with a dash of lemon juice and chopped onion on the side.
- Seasoning can be adjusted as per personal.preference.
