Phirni is a creamy rice based dessert from Northern India. Phirni is made of ground rice combined with milk and sugar. Nobody can’t resist Phirni for its tempting look and sweet aroma.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Rice Flour (or rice soaked rice)
- 2 ml Milk (cups/250)
- 1 pinch Saffron
- cup Sugar (â)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp Apricots (dried chopped)

Instructions
- Drain soaked rice and grind it to a coarse paste. Heat milk to boil, add rice paste or rice flour( if using rice flour dissolved in a little milk) while stirring constantly.
- Cook till rice cooked and came into a creamy texture.
- Add chopped apricot, sugar and saffron and mix well. Cook till sugar dissolved completely. Add cardamom powder and garnish with chopped apricots.
Recipe Notes
Chill in freezer for hours or two before serving.
