Ingredients
Ingredients for the banana cake
- 2 Bananas (mashed)
- 100 gm Butter
- 100 gm All Purpose Flour
- 100 gm Castor Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 50 ml Milk
- 1 tin Baking Loaf Tin (7 inch)
Ingredients for the boston cream
- 1 cup Custard (cooked or readymade)
- 1 cup Whipped Cream
Chocolate syrup ingredients
- 200 ml Cream (fresh)
- 400 gm Milk Chocolate

Instructions
Method to make Banana Cake
- Beat the butter and castor sugar until it is light and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time.
- Fold in the flour along with the baking powder and add a dash of vanilla essence.
- Add the mashed bananas. Do not over mix.
- Add milk. Pour the batter into a 7-inch loaf tin and bake it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Method for making Boston cream
- Mix the custard and whipped cream and keep aside.
To make Chocolate Sauce
- Heat the cream and add the chocolate. Whisk till the chocolate melts.
To assemble
- Take fancy shot glasses and add a layer of the banana cake after crumbling it.
- Pipe a layer of banana cake and Boston cream. Pipe a layer of chocolate sauce, top with another layer of cream and a final sprinkling of cake.
- Chef's Tip Add some Oreo crumbs or brownie bits.
