Hummus" comes from the Arabic word meaning "chickpeas. Hummus goes well with veg salad, chips, nachos, crackers or burgers, sandwiches.
In this recipe I have used cooked beetroot along with cooked chickpeas blended using some spices. It goes well with veg salad or sandwiches.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chickpeas (boiled â)
- 1/2 cup Beetroot (cooked â)
- 1 tbsp Tahini (or sauce sauce â)
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice (â)
- 2 clove Garlic (â)
- 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder (â)
- 1 tsp Freshly Ground Black Paper €“ 1 Tsp (freshly ground black paper â)
- 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil (or oil olive or any oil)
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)

Instructions
- Add all ingredients into blender. Blend it into a smooth paste.
- Serve with crackers or nachos.
- Store in an airtight container and transfer in refrigerator. Consume within two days.
