Instructions
 

  • Melt desi ghee in a kadai or heavy bottom pan.
  • Grate or mash khoya. Add it to melted desi ghee along with milk and sugar. Mix everything well.
  • Continue to cook the mixture for 5-10 min on lowest flame till it becomes little thick and starts to bind together.
  • Once the barfi material becomes little thick, remove from flame. Immediately transfer to a greased plate or tray. Spread it nicely.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts of choice. Let it set for few hours until stiff.
  • Cut the barfi in desired shape and store in an air tight box.
