Ingredients
- 250 gm Khoya ( Mawa)
- 1 tbsp Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter )
- 125 ml Milk (or 1/2 cup)
- 125 gm Sugar (or 1/2 cup)
- 1 pinch Yellow and Red food color
- 1 handful Nuts (Chopped, for garnishing)
- 1 handful Melon seeds (for garnishing)

Instructions
- Melt desi ghee in a kadai or heavy bottom pan.
- Grate or mash khoya. Add it to melted desi ghee along with milk and sugar. Mix everything well.
- Continue to cook the mixture for 5-10 min on lowest flame till it becomes little thick and starts to bind together.
- Once the barfi material becomes little thick, remove from flame. Immediately transfer to a greased plate or tray. Spread it nicely.
- Garnish with chopped nuts of choice. Let it set for few hours until stiff.
- Cut the barfi in desired shape and store in an air tight box.
