Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Fruit (jack)
- 2 cup Brown Rice
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
- 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 2 no Whole red chilli
- 4 to 6 clove Clove
- 1 piece Mace
- 1 tbsp Ginger (garlic paste)
- 2 large Onion (size sliced)
- 2 tbsp Fennel
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 no Black Cardamom
- 1 no Tomato
- 4 no Cardamom
- 50 gm Curd
- 2 tbsp Butter
- leaves Garnishing (or coriander, or mint coriander or mint for)
- Oil (for frying)

Instructions
- soak the rice at least 2 hours. wash and cut the jack fruit in thick slices. deep fry the onion till golden. mix jack fruit with ginger, garlic paste, curd, green cardamom powder, red chili powder and tomato, keep it for 10 minutes, then cook 75%
- make a bundle /potli with whole spices tied in a thin cloth put with rice and water boil until the rice cooked 75%.
- now take a heavy bottom pan and arrange the layer of cooked rice then jack fruit then fried onion. repeat the process and put the pan on lowest heat for 10 minutes. switch off the gas, serve hot with garlic raita or plain curd.
