Here I cooked with whole masoor dal. We have to soak the whole masoor for 4-6 hours then it will easy to cook.

  • Soak the whole masoor dal for 4 - 6 hours then boil.

  • Wash and chop the mushrooms then keep aside.

  • Take a pan heat oil add chopped garlic and chopped onion stir for a minute. Add chopped mushrooms, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and chopped tomato. Again stir fry for a minute.

  • Add boiled masoor dal and cook for a few minute. Then add slitted green chillies, salt, garam masala and homemade ghee. Now see how it is done.

  • It can be served with steamed rice and chapati.
