Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1/2 cup pumpkin (small, grinded into, paste do not add water)
- 5 cubes cream cheese (I have used kiri)
- Warm water (as needed)
- 1/2 cup Milk (for milk wash)
- 2 teaspoon Butter (for drizzle)

Instructions
- Take the flour, add the cinnamon powder, brown sugar, yeast and butter and rub everything
- Add the pumpkin puree and rub it into the flour. Gradually add warm water to make a tight dough
- Grease the dough and let it rest till it doubles, may take an hour
- The dough has raised beautifully
- Remove the air and knead the dough again
- Divide the dough into 5 balls, place 1 cheese cubes in each ball and seal them tight
- Now take a strong and tie the bun all around. Picture attached for reference
- They should resemble like a mini pumpkin
- Cover and let the dough rise for second proofing .Once they rise again, brush them with milk
- In a preheated oven at 180 D Celsius bake the bun for 20 to 25 mins or till they turn golden
- Enjoy them warm with ketchup or I'd you like I sweet you can prefer any fruit spread or jam
Recipe Notes
- Make a tight dough
- Knead the dough for 15 mins at least
- Tie the strings tightly so we get the pumpkin shapes
- Proofing is very important so don’t skip this stepÂ
