Ingredients
- 1 cup atta
- Water (to knead the dough)
- Salt (as per taste)
- 3 potatoes (boiled and mashed )
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 7-8 curry leaves (fresh)
- 1 onion (small, finely chopped)
- Salt
- 1/2 inch ginger piece (grated)
- 1/2 cup Coriander (fresh, to garnish)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric

Instructions
- Knead a soft dough just like chapatis.Add salt too.Keep covered for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out small puris. Use cookie cutter to give shapes. Deep fry till golden.
- In a non stick pan, add 1 tablespoon oil.Heat on low flame. Add rai, jeera, ginger. Let it splutter.
- Add onion and cook till soft. Add curry leaves, red chilli powder, haldi and salt.
- Add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Cover with a lid and let cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
