MY VERSION OF BERLIN VEGETARIAN CURRY WURST

Recipe Time & More
Ingredients
- cup Mashed Potato (one boiled and)
- cup Paneer (half grated)
- small Onion (one chopped)
- cup cashews (quarter crushed)
- Coriander (fresh chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
- tsp Coriander Seeds (or mustard, or seeds crushed mustard and seeds)
- to red chili powder (according taste)
- tbsp Ginger (garlic paste one)
- to Green Chillies (or salt salt taste optional)
- to Vegetable Oil (deep fry)
- Curry Powder (ingredients for)
- tbsp Cumin Seeds (one)
- tbsp Mustard Seeds (one)
- tbsp Coriander Seeds (one)
- tbsp Fennel Seeds (half)
- 3 to 4 cloves Cloves
- 7 to 8 Whole Black Pepper
- small stick Cinnamon (one)
- tbsp Turmeric Powder (half)
- Curry (or sauce ingredients for sauce ã â â œ)
- a cup Tomato Ketchup (half)
- 3 tbsp red chilli sauce
- tbsp Vinegar (one)
- tbsp Mustard Sauce (one)
- tbsp Curry Powder (two)
- 1-2 Sugar (or salt salt and little balance the final flavor)

Instructions
- Mix all these ingredients in a big bowl, Shape them into long sausage._x000D_ _x000D_ Deep fry them one by one in hot oil. Make sure that your oil is hot enough for deep frying._x000D_ _x000D_ Tip- If the oil is not hot enough the sausage will split.
- Put all the ingredients of curry powder in a small mixer, and grind till granular powder._x000D_ _x000D_ Keep this curry powder in a air tight container. We will be using this powder with ketchup to season the sauce._x000D_ _x000D_ Tip-This flavorful curry powder can be used in many other dishes too.
- Mix all the ingredients together and do not forget to check on the flavor balance._x000D_ _x000D_ Curry sauce can be made before hand, and kept in the fridge._x000D_ _x000D_ This is handy when you are in a real hurry._x000D_ _x000D_ TO ASSEMBLE-_x000D_ _x000D_ Put the hot sausages on the plate and pour over the tangy spicy sauce._x000D_ _x000D_ Serve it with the thin slices of fresh bread.
Recipe Notes
Originally it is served as steamed and fried pork sausage,with absolutely phenomenal curry wurst sauce.

Making a vegetarian version was interesting. I used potato and home made paneer with spices to make

the sausage, with combination of spicy curry, flavored ketchup.

You can play around with the ingredients of the sausage, but the magic is in the curry sauce.
