Spicy Potato Roast is a Chettinad recipe in which potatoes are cooked with spices and roasted till crispy. A perfect side dish for lunch.

Ingredients
- 4 Potato
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1-2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
- 1-2 leaves Curry

Instructions
- Cut potatoes into 2 and pressure cook for 1 whistle Or In boiling water, add potatoes and cook for 5 – 7 mins.
- Peel off the skin and cut into small cubes.
- Add Oil in a pan.
- Add the cooked potatoes and curry leaves to oil and mix well. Potatoes should be covered with oil. Roast till potatoes turn golden.
- Now add the spice powders and salt. Mix well.
- Roast in medium heat for 5 - 7 mins. Roasting potatoes requires patience. But the result will be great.
- Switch off the heat. Transfer to serving bowl.
Recipe Notes
Do not over cook the potatoes in the 1st step.
