Stuffed ridge gourd with prawn.Ridge gourd and sponge gourd are same family but taste and appearance quite different. Ridge gourd has ridge surface and sponge gourd has smooth surface. In hindi it named turai and in Bengali it named jhinge. It has dietary fibre and water content. It has low calorie and low cholesterol levels.

Ingredients
- 200 gm prawn
- 250 gm ridge gourd
- 1 tbsp onion paste
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- ¼ cup rice paste
- Oil (as required)
- Salt ( to taste)

Instructions
- Peel off the skin of ridge gourd then cut like a pocket.
- Shallow fry a few prawn and a make a paste of few.
- Take a pan add oil then prawn paste. Stir continuously then add other paste onion, ginger, green chilies and tomato.
- Stir continuously add salt. Slowly it will become dry then fill in ridge gourd. Lock with rice paste.
- Cover and cook in low flame. After 7 to 8 minutes it will cooked. Garnish with fried prawn.
