  • For Vada Pappu: Wash Moon Dal for about 4 to 5 times and soak Dal for about an hour, then strain completely.

  • Add Raw Mango, Carrots, Coconut and salt to the Moong Dal. Mix it well.

  • For Seasoning: Heat up oil in a small bowl, once the oil is hot; add mustard seeds and when the mustard seeds start crackling add green chillies and Asafoetida.

  • Pour the tempering on the Moong Dal mixture, add lemon juice and coriander, mix it well and Serve to all with Panakam.

  • For Panakam: In a bowl, Dissolve the jaggery in water, in this add lemon juice, salt, Cardamom powder, dry ginger powder and pepper powder.
