Vrat Wale Aloo is a special recipe which is consumed or eaten during fasting. It is a simple and delicious aloo sabji, perfect recipe for fasting with no onion and garlic. In this the potatoes are cooked and crumbled and sauteed in tomato spice mixture.

Ingredients
- 2 Potato (large peeled and cut into cubes)
- 1/4 tsp carom seeds
- 1/4 tsp cumin seed
- 2 Green Chillies (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (large, chopped)
- Rock Salt (to taste)
- Water (as required)
- 1-2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Pressure cook the potatoes for 3-4 whistles.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the ajwain and cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add the green chillies and fry for a min. Add the tomato, salt and fry till it turns mushy.
- Add the potatoes and crumble them with help of stapula.
- Add required water, cover the pan and cook in medium heat for 5-10 mins and take off the heat.
